, the
site is full of useful advice about bullying, school & education as well
as giving information on who may be able to offer you help & support.
WHO ARE YOUNG
CARERS?
Young carers are
children and young people aged between 5 – 18 years who take
responsibility for the care of another person (usually a relative) who is
ill, has a disability, is experiencing mental distress or is affected by
substance use or HIV/AIDS.

-

work with statutory and voluntary agencies
-

OK including the person being cared for |
They may not be
caring all of the time and the affect of caring will differ from one young carer to another.
