When you need help, advice or Information about
local health services
PALS, Northamptonshire's Patient Advice & Liaison Services are here
to help when you need advice, have concerns or don't know where to turn.
PALS will:
1. Listen to your views on the services provided by
health
2. Take action to deal with your concerns or queries and sort out
problems quickly on your behalf
3. Provide advice and information about services, policies and
procedures
4. Help you if you wish to make a formal complaint
5. Put you in touch with independent advocacy and support organisations
6. Help you become involved in the way we plan and deliver our services
PALS is a confidential service. We will not disclose
any information about you without your consent. We act independently
when handling patient and family concerns. We will liaise with staff,
managers and, where appropriate, relevant organisations to negotiate
immediate or prompt solutions. We can also help to put patients and
their families in touch with other local or national support
organisations.
