Ability Northants hold a full list of sports, leisure and activities for people with all disabilities and special needs to be enjoyed by both the cared for and Carers.

However, these activities can also enable Carers to some much needed respite, activities include:

Zone Hockey, Wheelchair basketball, Horse riding, sailing, swimming, Football etc. as well as organisations that can help people with special needs to take an active part in these pursuits.

Are you interested in or would you like an interest in Photography? If yes then maybe this national organisation would be of interest to you.

Dancing For wheelchair users and their Carers and friends
Do you fancy having a go at Ballroom or Latin Dancing with your spouse/partner who is a wheelchair user?

Then now is your chance to give it a go at the Doddridge Centre, St James in Northampton on a Wednesday evening between 6.30p.m. and 7.30p.m.

'Stop Gap' Dance Company is a vibrant integrated dance company that includes dancers with and without disabilities.

it is open to:
● Disabled dancers who would like to develop their dance skills
● Non-disabled dancers who would like to expand their experiences

- offer two classes on a Saturday morning for young people with special needs.

The classes are small and last just 1½ hours to ensure that each young person gets the individual attention that they need.
